If indictments result then it's a whole new game. Americans have very short political memories and almost nonexistent historical ones. They are also becoming used to a routine sort of political brutality expressed by the sociopaths who hold public office in far to many places.Garethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5888314760091661875.post-48629410398122797992014-01-09T19:54:21.067-06:002014-01-09T19:54:21.067-06:00Fat man in the helicopter got caught with his hand...Fat man in the helicopter got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and says the least bad thing he can in an attempt to stop the investigations and minimize his ongoing exposure and punishment. How many months did he spend denying there was even a cookie jar, much less cookies missing from that jar?

Just a few days before the clock was scheduled to run out on the legislative subpoena powers, the coverup ends. It does not end like the fat man in the helicopter planned.

Fat man knows better than the spectators who knew what and when. Fat man also knows whether this has happened before.

What's the difference between busting balls as a payback, busting balls for others to get a payback, and taking a payback from someone to not bust their balls?

Like is so frequently said, there is more, much more to come.

In so many words, Walker will bleat the same things when he thinks he is as caught as Christie is. Walker has not nearly the intellectual powers as Christie, and Walker is more inept, so Walker may have trouble realizing where he really stands if his deeds ever come crashing down on him.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5888314760091661875.post-84134017886745715192014-01-09T18:40:44.976-06:002014-01-09T18:40:44.976-06:00I'm no fan of Governor Christie but here's...I'm no fan of Governor Christie but here's something he said this morning (believe him or not) that you will never ever hear from Scott Walker:

"The political overtones that were exhibited in those documents released yesterday and the conduct by those people is not acceptable."

If Walker disowned his administration's political overtones there wouldn't be anything left. God forbid that he should act like the Governor of all the people of Wisconsin, even the ones that didn't vote for him. His head (and base, and major campaign donor$) would explode at the very thought! MadCityVoternoreply@blogger.com
