As if that wasn't bad enough, it seems this so called businessman has had trouble keeping his finances in order. In May of this year, Portfolio Recovery Associates sued Espeseth in Milwaukee County Circuit Court. On October 23rd, Circuit Judge Christopher Foley entered a default judgement ordering him to pay $27,524.25.
Mr. Espeseth was kind enough to loan his campaign his own money, over $8,000, before paying his creditors. That doesn't exactly sound like good fiscal responsibility to me and I am sure his creditors would agree. For someone that touts himself as a businessman, it would appear he has trouble keeping his own finances in order.
