Pitney Bowes Inc. plans to eliminate 56 jobs at its supply operation in Neenah, the company told state officials Tuesday.Has anyone else noticed that Walker doesn't say how Wisconsin is open for business anymore? That's probably because too many people are catching on to the part he left off. The whole thing should read: Wisconsin - Open for Businesses to Leave.
The cuts are expected to begin on Sept. 5. Most of the employees losing their jobs work as client retention representatives, supply sales representatives or supply client support representatives, the firm said in its notice.
Pitney Bowes, based in Stamford, Conn., makes postage meters and provides mailing services. The company earned $142.8 million last year on $3.87 billion in revenue.
