The Walker Agenda Is Still Working! Part CCXXII

Tell me again about how Scott Walker has made Wisconsin business friendly and is creating so many jobs.  With news of 150 people getting laid off as another company flees the state, I tend to forget:
One hundred and fifty jobs will be cut with the shutdown of a Kenosha County food-processing plant, the factory's owner has told state officials.

Lakeview Farms LLC said it will start eliminating jobs at its plant in Bristol in August and shutter the facility completely next January.

The move comes as the maker of sour cream, dips and gelatins shifts production from Wisconsin to its headquarters city, Delphos, Ohio, about 60 miles north of Dayton.

Lakeview Farms plans to add 200 jobs in Delphos as it expands and invests $12 million there, The Lima News reported earlier this month. The newspaper said the State of Ohio will provide a loan and tax credits to the company in connection with the expansion and expected job creation.
Not only are we losing 150 existing jobs, we are losing out on what might have been another couple of hundred in one of the areas of the state with the highest rate of unemployment.

I can't wait to see Scott Walker plug this into one of his commercials.

  1. I wonder what happened to those "Wisconsin is open for business" signs suck ass sound bite Scott Walker installed in Beloit and Hudson?

  3. never mind that the corporate tax climate is much better in Ohio than Wisconsin, right? Something that our Gov is working on changing. And nevermind that they are consolidating their manufacturing and headquarters to trim costs, right? And never mind that Ohio kicked in money, something that Walker has been criticized for, right? Love the selective blogging. Another good laugh today.

    1. Cutting corporate taxes to 0 in the next 2 years isn't enough for them, Corky? Tens of millions in unaccountable WEDC giveaways aren't enough , Corkster?

Maybe it's because no one wants to locate in a state where talent isn't bejng developed, and people with talent leave to places with better pay and a higher quality of life (why do you think Minnesota is kicking our ass).

Bottom line, this state will stay stagnant as long as it's run by mediocrity-lovers like Scott Walker and suburb trash like you.

  4. If you don't like it Jake, leave. I like my suburb. I like how you play with my name though too. Very cute. Please, try a few more. Some faceless guy on a blog getting all pissed at me is actually quite entertaining.

    1. Your whole life revolves around what we think, and how you compare to others. The absolute definition of suburban mediocrity- and the reason people like me got out of the Milwaukee suburbs and never came back.

Good luck selling your house in a cultural cesspool with declining public schools. Hope it was worth to gain...well, what have you gained, Corkscrew?

    2. Yes! Corkscrew. I like it. I still think you can do better though...

I don't want to go into details about myself, because I don't want my life to revolve around what you think of me. What I think of you however, is that you are a damn joke. Come at me buddy. This obviously gets under your skin, and quite frankly, I think it is laughable. And, my suburb isn't in Milwaukee area either just so you know, nor do my kids go to public schools.

When is this blog going to link to another lingerie website again?

  5. Jake-leave Corky alone. It's tough being a former actor now unemployed in Walker's Wisconsin. Every time Corky makes a post here, he is likely earning some "Koch Bucks" to add to his acting residuals. So go easy on the poor guy.

When Corky isn't following this blog, he is probably hanging around in Port Washington with Screech from "Saved By the Bell".

  6. Walker's economic growth strategy is self serving. The road builders give Walker huge campaign donations. Walker borrows billions for roads. Road builders get rich. Repeat cycle until state is paved over and broke, road builders are filthy rich and Scott Walker's pockets are stuffed full of cash.
