The Consultant

By Jeff Simpson

White Wisconsin is at it again.  This time they took a poll of "C" list celebrities on what their "expert" opinon of Mary Burke was.

Of course their "opinions" were mostly laughable, but one especially stood out.   Former State Rep. Michelle Litjens.

At first glance, it continues to amaze me that the Democrats don't care what you do, they only care how you promise to vote. Despite their penchant for class warfare, they never cared that Herb Kohl was a 1%er as long as he voted the party line. Nor do they seem to care that Mary Burke sent jobs overseas.

One question she can't escape is Act 10. Wisconsinites Democrats hope to drop the issue. Nonetheless, she will be required to answer the question: will she repeal it? If she says no, the base will be irate. If she says yes, the voters won't support her. If she says she'll repeal it in part, she will confuse the voters, which is where the Democrats prefer their voters to be anyway, and then we'll have a race on our hands.

Either way, I continue to be dumbfounded that Democrat voters don't care if you walk the walk as long as you talk their talk.

What is hilarious as that Litjens is now a consultant.  I am not sure what she is qualified to "consult" on except how to break up marriages.    However just to show who these people are.

Here is Michelle Litjens "talking the talk":

Michelle married Tony Litjens in 1995, and they began to build a family and business together in the City of Oshkosh.   With only a vision, they formed Land Pride Properties, LTD, and now run a successful operation that constructs and manages multi-family housing in the Fox Valley.  Through their business endeavors, Michelle became involved with the Winnebago Apartment Association, Winnebago Home Builders,  Wisconsin Apartment Association, National Federation of Independent Businesses, Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Achievement, among others.  She cherishes the many opportunities she has to speak to students and community members about the responsibilities and benefits of being good tenants.

Michelle volunteers with the Oshkosh Unified Catholic Schools and Most Blessed Sacrament Parish.  She is a proud member of the NRA and Wisconsin Right to Life.  She and Tony reside in the Town of Vinland and are the proud parents of Jack,15 and Abigail, 13 and their Australian Sheppard named Tilly.

Here is Michelle Litjens "walking the walk":

Tea Party darling and Michelle Bachmann “wannabe”, Michelle Litjens has been busy reinventing herself this year. First, the freshman Republican announced in February that she would not seek re-election to the state assembly. At the time TMJ reported that she wanted to spend more time with her family. Apparently that sentiment didn’t extend to her soon to be ex-husband because she filed for divorce against her husband on June 8th, as reported on June 17 by Root River Siren.

  1. Let me correct what Michelle Litjens said:

At first glance, it continues to amaze me that the Republicans don't care what you do, they only care how you promise to vote. Despite their penchant for Family Values, they never cared that Robin Vos was still married while he loved me as long as he voted the party line. Nor do they seem to care that his second wife was a trollop who lived in Idaho while voting in Wisconsin.

I continue to be dumbfounded that Republicans voters don't care if you walk the walk as long as you talk their talk.

  2. In a weird sort of way I think she is actually hurting Vos's reputation. Can that be possible? Although, anyone who can rise up above the labels of paramour, concubine and adulterer to be the trusted adviser (maybe should have used a different word there) to our next governor must be smarter than we think. Wonder if she'll have to sign the same prenup as Sammy,

  3. Well, Robin Vos can now FINALLY proceed with the divorce from Sammy to marry his little trollop. You see, Robin didn't want to have to pay for Sammy's health insurance given how she's sick and ObamaCare doesn't kick in until 2014. So, now, Sammy can sign up for ObamaCare (Vos cheers) and Robin can go ahead and agree to pay for now AFFORDABLE healthcare for his sick wife.

  4. All sorts of questions arise here. How much does Vos have to pay her to, er, 'consult'? If he is paying for her services can he expense her out of his per diem? His campaign money? Is she providing 'consulting' services for other chubby right wingers? Does she have an hourly rate and an over night rate?
Poor girl. Heard that her ex hubby was mismanaging the ex family business so she needs to make money the old fashioned way.

  5. On a related note, Ms. Litjens' "boss" is having a fundraiser tonight back in Burlington with another special Litjens friend- Chuckles Sykes.
