No Amount of Money!

By Jeff Simpson

You have to love people who actually stand by their principles and are nt swayed by any amount of money!

Lady Gaga turned down $1 million to perform during last summer's Republican National Convention, according to the chief congressional correspondent of the Washington Examiner.
The revelation is included in a lawsuit filed by the American Action Network, a GOP fundraising organization, against a vendor retained to stage entertainment outside the doors of the convention in Tampa.
Documents filed in the lawsuit also reveal that Dolly Parton and rapper Pitbull turned down offers to appear at the August convention. The Examiner says that Republicans hoped to feature Pitbull at an event for the Hispanic Leadership Network.
AAN’s lawsuit against Cater America LLC, a company that produces events, seeks to recover $350,000. The money was lost in part when a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert arranged by Cater America was canceled when a state of emergency was declared over Hurricane Isaac.
The hurricane ended up barely brushing the Tampa area.
Lady Gaga played four consecutive sellouts in Finland and Sweden on the dates of the GOP convention.
  Good for them!
