MILWAUKEE (WITI) — 54-year-old Anthony Davis of Milwaukee was arrested Thursday, March 21st after he allegedly made a threatening phone call to an employee at Marcia Coggs Human Services.I'm not sure if this is the same guy who made threats last year and caused the building to be evacuated.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Davis threatened to “shoot up the agency” during a phone call to the center Wednesday, March 20th because he was upset that his FoodShare benefits had been revoked.
According to the sheriff’s office, Davis has an extensive criminal history that includes convictions for burglary, battery, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting/obstruction an officer, false imprisonment, possession of THC, manufacture of cocaine and a felon in possession of a firearm.
Davis has been booked into the County Correctional Facility-Central for unauthorized use of a telephone.
But I do know that there were at least three deputies stationed at the building all day long. Makes me wonder why we are paying millions for private security companies.
