Another Romney Faux Pas Flagged

Four years ago, the right wing was having holy hissy fits because then candidate Barack Obama didn't have an American flag lapel pin. This was proof positive in their bigoted minds that he wasn't really American.

Four years later and you don't hear a peep from them about Mitt Romney committing a real violation of flag etiquette:

True flag etiquette is pretty clear on the issue (emphasis mine):
Displaying the Flag Indoors

When on display, the flag is accorded the place of honor, always positioned to its own right. Place it to the right of the speaker or staging area or sanctuary. Other flags should be to the left.

The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of states, localities, or societies are grouped for display.

When one flag is used with the flag of the United States of America and the staffs are crossed, the flag of the United States is placed on its own right with its staff in front of the other flag.

When displaying the flag against a wall, vertically or horizontally, the flag's union (stars) should be at the top, to the flag's own right, and to the observer's left.
It's pretty obvious that Romney thinks himself bigger than the country.  What do you think  would happen if we were foolish enough to let him win the election.

Let's put it this way: Imagine Scott Walker with a suit that fits and orange skin.

When Romney was in Milwaukee on Friday, he made a statement which one might consider a threat to the United States:
Romney said that Obama “promised to be a post-partisan president, but he became the most partisan” and that his bitter relations with the House GOP could threaten the economy. As his chief example, he pointed to a crisis created entirely by his own party’s choice — Republican lawmakers’ ongoing threat to reject a debt ceiling increase. Economists warn that a failure to pass such a measure would have immediate and catastrophic consequences for the recovery.

“You know that if the President is re-elected, he will still be unable to work with the people in Congress,” Romney said. “He has ignored them, attacked them, blamed them. The debt ceiling will come up again, and shutdown and default will be threatened, chilling the economy.”
At first, I thought it was just that much more hyperbole, but it's obvious that Romney holds the country in disdain and is only interested in amassing more fortune for himself and his cronies.

  2. I despise Romney and everything the GOP currently represents. But I have seen so many photoshopped pics of Obama and recently the RNC debt cunter over the candidates, I can't help but wonder if this is real or photoshopped too. Call me skeptical. (I have been know to be wrong before...)

    Vote Obama, Tammy Balwin!
