Compare/Contrast

We have two distinct visions of where we want to take our country in this election.  Let's compare & contrast the two visions today in Madison, WI.

The first is Americans For Prosperity held a big astroturf "rally" in Madison.   They even brought in their big gun, out of state agitator and vermin Tim Phillips.   They drew quite the crowd!

On the same day, same city, just a couple miles apart, President Obama is due to speak soon.   On the rainy campus of UW- Madison, here is a picture Emily mills took approximately two hours before the President is scheduled to speak:

'Nuff Said.

  1. Were the people behind the "stage" at the AFP "rally" shipped in?

  2. AFP 'rally'? Looks like that room in the Animal House movie where they put all of the 'special' people that wanted to join the frat.

  4. I hear Walker was trying to brag that he's more popular than Obama. He said he was able to bring hundreds of thousands of people to the Capitol everyday for two months.

  6. AFP has been dragging their bus all around WI. Last Saturday they were at the Brewer Game. Not sure how big the crowd was. Just saw the bus there and heard the non stop bullhorn as background noise while we were tailgating.

  7. After the rally, the AFP crowd reconvened in the basement of the sideburns kid's moms house. Except for the guy wearing the London fog jacket who looks like he has some experience holding the name placard in a mugshot. Rice krispy treats were served and the group made care packages to send to its billionaire sponsors behind their gated enclaves.

  8. Notice the woman with the symbol and text on her AFP shirt. The symbol looks like a division sign:
    I ÷ Wi
At least they're shameless in their honesty.

  9. Tim Phillips is the guy, who as a campaign consultant, cooridinated an anti-semitic smear campaign against Eric Cantor in the 2000 Republican primary. What a class act.

The crowd looks a little stunned as they learn about the pervasiveness of the international Jewish conspiracy.

He's a snappy dresser too. In the photo he looks like he just picked up his suit from the Salvation Army.

  10. no time to be overconfident. the republican ground game is well funded and finely tuned and America Cant afford to let Romney/Ryan into the White House. I don't like the odds and the game is rigged. the chance of president Romney is way too great for my 'comfort" We cant afford the tragedy on election day of not having done all we can to defeat Anti American, profit offshoring, job outsourcing, Tax cheating Romney. All of those people at the Obama event need to each register 3 new voters and bring 3 friends to vote and we need to start voting on early voting day
