Call To Action! Tell The County Board To Override MTA Veto!

In June, the Milwaukee County Board passed a resolution to put the Move to Amend referendum on the November ballot with a 14-4 margin.

Last week, Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele vetoed the referendum which would allow the people to tell Congress that corporations are not people, snidely comparing the people's voice to a "Facebook poll."

This coming Thursday, September 6, the County Board will be taking up the veto and will vote on whether to override Abele's veto.

It is imperative that you contact your county supervisor and tell them that the people must be heard and that you want them to override Abele's act of oligarchy.

You can reach them by calling 414-278-4222.  If you would rather call or email your supervisor directly, you can find their contact information here.

After you make your call and/or send your email, make sure that your family, your friends and your neighbors do so too.
