Chris Christie - Still an Ass!

We found out the other day that Scott Walker's good friend and Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, likes to whine about being obese.
The Republican governor said, "I've been living with it for a long time, and I'm going to try to get better." He added, "And if I can get better, that'll be great for me and for my family and for the public who likes me ... it's something that's not easy. If it were easy, I'd already have it fixed.”
Well we found out that he does not like difficult tasks and now we find out that he is attacking his weight problem the same way he attacked budget problems, completely backwords and doomed to fail.
Recently Governor Crisco, was caught on camera working on his diet, while eating an ice cream cone. A passerby yells at him to "take care of the teachers" and that sets the ice cream cone wielding governor off. No one stands up for teachers when Gov. Christie is around, so the big guy went on the attack!

 H/T Daily Beast:

Eating ice cream cones to lose weight is akin to cutting public employees salary to balance the budget! While the rotund Governor from New Jersey might not be losing weight, we see he is still an ass! People in New Jersey must be proud!

David Letterman tried to bring some levity to the situation and lighten the embarrassment of the New jersey people who are stuck with this lunatic.

  1. F.F. Chris Christie, what a classy guy. I loved the way the kids were laughing at the fool and following him. Bring it on tubby. Yeah they were really afraid of the tough guy Governor. What a hoot.

The closest thing we have in the Badger state to F.F. is Joel Kleefisch, fearless crane hunter, although to give F.F. his due, he probably does have 40 or 50 IQ points over the camouflaged beer belly.

  2. I don't like Christie's style or his policies. However, I don't think it is good to elect people based on their weight or to make fun of someone for a weight problem.

  3. Sorry anon if christie were a decent human being and treated people like human beings then I would agree. However christie is nothing but a bully and an ass who treats people who disagree with him with bile and venom.

Some guy says take care of the teachers and he goes off on him??? the problem is we stopped holding elected officials accountable for their behavior when the republican party realized they could not get people to run for office and do what they were told who could behave.

SO yes I plan on making fun of him every single time he looks the fool with an outburst like this.

By the way he came to WI and tried to tell us how to run things and he obviously has hiw own problems!

    1. Well yes. Ok, make fun of him if you want to do that, although I still think it is his style/policies/ego that is bad, not his size.

  4. This is hilarious, "And if I can get better ... for the public who likes me." Ha! ha! "For the public who likes me!" Well, it can't be many. Man, does this guy have insecurity issues galore or what! And, the adoring public that do like him are just as reptilian, greedy and gluttonous as he is. All those birds of feathers flocking together are dumping a huge excremental mess on the public that don't like him!

  6. So typical the Gov is out with his family and along comes a big mouth union thug acting like what he has to says matter. Really got a kick out of thug flapping his lips and then basically running like the little cowards all of these thugs really are. GREAT JOB GOV you put one more lazy union worker in his place.

    1. There is nothing to indicate if the passer by was with the unions or not. Yet you make that assumption. It's too bad that you feel such disregard for the Constitution and the Freedom of Speech.

    2. Local Blogger Ann Althouse does this all the time as well. Anytime somebody calls her a bad name she blames it on "unions".

It is almost as if everyone on the Far Right is using the same playbook...
