Business Leaders Miss Cause And Effect

Anyone could have told them that this was going to happen, but they pushed for it anyway.

Scott Walker and the Republican legislature bust up unions and take away worker rights in both the private and public sectors, and now they can't find enough qualified workers.

This isn't rocket science, you know. But when you have a governor that can't spell or do math, and a legislature that has sold their souls to Big Business, I suppose it might seem that way.

  1. Businesses could hire workers and then train them to fill positions, but that would cost them money so they'll whine to the gov. instead.

  2. Walker also cut technical college budgets by 30%, didn't he?

  3. Why yes CJ, he did cut tech colleges by 30%. Hard to be "open for business" when you don't provide the resources to allow people to learn the job, isn't it?

  4. Not to mention reducing 250,000 public employees' take home pay by an average of $5,000 each, slicing a billion dollar plus hole in the state's economy, reducing the demand necessary for state businesses to recover from the recession.
