What? No Parties?

Gasoline is now over $3 a gallon locally, higher than it's ever been this time of year before. This does not bode well for future prices.

A former oil company executive is predicting that gas will reach more than $5 a gallon.

Yet not one word from the teabaggers who would be screaming their fool heads off if their taxes went up even a fraction of the amount gas prices are.

Oh, yeah, that's right...don't bite the hand that feeds you.

They are good little sheep, aren't they?

But I guess where are the liberals who accused Bush of inflating oil prices because he wanted to help his oil buddies?
Seems like the liberals are the ones who are the hypocrites.

  2. I've always held that it was the companies. Bush only made it easier for them to do what they have always done.

Until we get regulations with teeth reinstalled, this is the way it will stay.

  4. Recent higher gas prices are in part driven by the increase in oil prices. Some of that increase is a result of the Fed's recent actions (QE2).

So if you are arguing for greater restrictions on the Fed, I'd suspect you could find some people (even some 'teabaggers') that would agree with you.
