Sounds like a good idea, especially with minimum security prisons. Many aspects of the prison industry are already privatized, like transportation. There are private prisons.
So, why does a state need to have state employees run a prison?
Dan, do yourself a favor. Research the outcome of the private prisons, all the riots, needless deaths, and lawsuits that come with them.
Then come back and admit how silly you sounded just now.
