Executhug Makes The Paper, Sort Of

In a new and growing tradition here at Cog Dis, that of being the source of being in the forefront of breaking news and events, the tradition continues.

Last Thursday, I told the gentle reader about the thug culture that Walker has been cultivating in the courthouse, with the aid of his right hand man, Tom "The Enforcer" Nardelli, and their no snitch policy.

In this morning's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Dan Bice ran his version of the story. Now, my ego is not big enough to be offended and get all snitty like some other bloggers would. But my ego is big enough to make me wonder if my post was the source for Mr. Bice's story. He does not tell his readers how he came to learn of the email from No Snitch Nardelli. And since it was being pretty widely circulated by Friday, it is conceivable someone had given him a copy, or otherwise notified him of it. But the coincidence of the two events does lead me to wonder.

Anywho, in my post, I questioned if we would see the same type of outrage we saw with the other No Snitch Enforcer, Michael McGee, Jr. Apparently, the answer is no.

The only blogger that I am aware of covering it was Mary from Freedom Eden. Mary said it was no big deal and wasnt' newsworthy.

Funny thing about that is that a quick search of her site revealed that at one time, she thought a no snitching policy was a horrible thing. Mmm. Two politicians, both up to no good and both wanting a no snitch policy. Only Mary thinks it no biggie for one of them, but for the other one, she says:
McGee tries to paint the movement positively, as really being about criminals trying to avoid being held responsible for their own crimes.

That's just an excuse to be against snitching, and a very poor one.

The fact is McGee promotes the practice of blocking police efforts to keep the community safe.

In the end, being anti-snitching is being anti-justice.

It's reprehensible.

That's what passes for leadership in the city of Milwaukee.
There is only two differences that I can tell between the Alderthug and the Executhug. Neither of them would put Mary into a favorable light. I will let the reader draw their own conclusions on which factor they think Mary is basing her hypocritical position on.

  1. You've got to be kidding.

It's ridiculous for you to compare my condemnation of McGee's encouragement of people to stop snitching when it comes to cooperating with law enforcement and my reaction to Nardelli's response to leaks, inaccurate ones, in a political campaign.

    Where's the hypocrisy?

  2. Both Nardelli and McGee were against snitching to cover up wrong doing. I even said that the wrong doing was no where on the same level, but it is the same principle. Too bad that you missed such a basic point.
